However, with the exception of announcing that update version 3.55 is a "minor update that adds a security patch," there aren't any other details about this upgrade.

So be on the lookout next time you turn on your PS3 for a notice. Hopefully it won't stall you from accessing Netflix or playing Call of Duty: Black Ops too long.
