Sony unveils 17" and 25" Trimaster EL professional OLED displays

Sony is updating its Trimaster EL monitor series with a pair of new OLED displays designed for professionals and critical evaluation application uses.

Boasted as the "first monitors to deliver full HD resolution OLED panels with 10-bit drivers," these screens should offer better color quality, brightness, efficiency and every quality one wants in a professional-grade display.

Some of the nitty gritty specs include a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 48-75Hz frame rate, 100 cd/m2 standard luminance and an 89-degree viewing angle from every direction.

The 25-inch BVM-E250 will roll out first in mid-April for ¥2.5 million (~$30,000), and the 17-inch BVM-E170 will follow in June for ¥1.3 million (~$15,600). For a closer look at the Trimaster EL monitors, check out the video below:
