Sorry honey. Gartner cancelled Mother's Day this year.

In addition to apologizing to my wife and my Mom (both dedicated mothers that I would have liked to spend the sacred day with), I'd like to personally thank Gartner for ruining this year's Mother's Day by starting Gartner Symposium and ITxpo on Sunday, May 14.  Even May 15 (the day after Mother's Day) is a bad idea since many of us have to travel on the 14th just to get there in time for the opening keynotes.
