Sprint may attract iPhone 5 customers with unlimited data

In an attempt to make its own version of the iPhone 5 the most attractive, Sprint plans to leverage its unlimited data plan.

Sprint is serious about making its all-too-likely offering of the iPhone 5 an attrative one. Which is why the company doesn't plan on nixing its unlimited data plan once Apple's latest phone lands in a few weeks, Bloomberg reports.

Would the move make sense? Considering that neither AT&T nor Verizon offer unlimted data plans anymore, an offer like that from Sprint would be a pretty enticing one, and would without a doubt draw a lot of interest from potential iPhone 5 buyers. Of course, the drawbacks are also clear: With so many people sucking up Sprint's "unlimited" resouces, how long will it be becore things start getting a bit sluggish? Once that happens, Sprint may find itself in AT&T and Verizon's shoes and opt to get rid of its unlimited data plans after all.

Of course, there is no confirmation quite yet on whether Sprint is getting the iPhone 5 to begin with, so its best not to get your hopes up quite yet.
