Survivor Web traffic doubles

Traffic to CBS's "Survivor" site more than doubled from Tuesday to Wednesday -- the night the network series revealed its $1 million winner, according to a Nielsen/NetRatings survey.

Traffic to CBS's "Survivor" site more than doubled from Tuesday to Wednesday -- the night the network series revealed its $1 million winner, according to a Nielsen/NetRatings survey. "Over time, the capabilities to leverage traditional and new media together -- television and the Internet -- will provide a competitive advantage, as the Web begins to threaten television as an advertising venue," said Alan Wiener, vice president of analytical services at NetRatings (ntrt). -- Lisa M.
