If nobody in power has actually made the point I'm going to make three paragraphs from now, then I sincerely hope some e-terrorist does break into the Pentagon.

Take the Pentagon off the Internet. The Internet became a circus the instant it became available to the average Joe around the world -- and I wonder who decided that the average Joe should have access to it since making money would be involved.

I've got nothing against making money, but by keeping such high-risk classified hoo-haa organizations like the Pentagon on the Internet is begging for trouble -- and it's stupid to keep 'em on, too.

The answer is appallingly simple as they did it once before with the original: A new Internet should be -- MUST BE -- made. But be exclusive to the government and military ONLY!!! Keep it off the hands of the remainder of the world. The current one is sufficient for universities, schools, libraries, corporations, average Joes, hackers...

Somebody once said "E-terrorism is a wonderful thing, all you need is someone to put it to proper use." Good thing most of the people trying to break in aren't organized, wouldn't you agree?
