The new deal will see TechnologyOne deploy its suite of enterprise software to Epworth's group of hospitals, including financial and supply chain management applications and a customer relationship management (CRM) suite.

The software will be put in place to support medical and surgical services, diagnostics and rehabilitation programs.

Alan Kinkade, group chief executive of Epworth Healthcare, said in a statement that the hospital group never expected to find a vendor that could meet its future scalability needs in the present market. Kinkade also placed a high value on TechnologyOne's investment in local research and development.

Epworth will work with TechnologyOne over the next 12 months through the implementation process.
