TESO 10-inch iPad-lookalike pops up in Shenzhen; runs Windows 7

The iPad cloners just won't quit. Now this TESO tablet computer has popped up in Shenzhen, China, looking identical to Apple's special tablet debuting in April. Except this one beats the iPad's screen by a fourth of an inch. Ha!

The iPad cloners just won't quit. Now this TESO tablet computer has popped up in Shenzhen, China, looking identical to Apple's special tablet debuting in April. Except this one beats the iPad's screen by a fourth of an inch. Ha!

That's right: the TESO tablet features a 10.1-inch multi-touch display, whereas the iPad only has a 9.7-inch touchscreen. Not that the iPad's measurements are shabby in the slightest.

Other features on TESO's clone include:

  • Windows 7 OS
  • 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen (1024 x 600 resolution)
  • 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor
  • 1GB DDR2 memory
  • GPS
  • 3G
  • HDMI output
  • 3000mAh battery

No word on a price or release date (or if this will be released anywhere else). I'm just curious if/when Apple will go after them.
