These two guys know more about Vonage tech than, well, Vonage tech

In order to take the pulse of Vonage users and what bugs are bugging them, I frequently visit the Vonage Forums.

Unaffiliated with Vonage, the Forums have signed up more than 40,000 Members in slightly more than four years of operation.

Several of these members have taken on the noble, and I daresay non-paid, role of advising other Vonage Forum Members on issues ranging from funky set-up logistics and router-related mystery bugs to where the (Mom raised a gentleman) is my rebate?

Then there are the network configuration issues, the questions about how to get Vonage to work with TiVo, a home alarm system, or how to port your old phone number to Vonage.

Although dozens of Vonage Forum Members often offer their expert advice, there are two whose counsel stands out as being quickly delivered, frequenty, astute and highly knowledgeable. Using Photoshop, I have canvassed their "Avatars" @ the top of this post.

One of them goes by the user name of Steve48. He's more of a generalist, but is an expert on all things Vonage except- just perhaps- for networking issues. This dude has made more than 3,500 posts-quality and quantity.

There, I've observed Vonage Forum Members who have benefited from the expertise of NateHoy.  Not only is this guy quick to offer expert advice on general Vonage issues, but his deep knowledge of networking as it relates to Vonage is both generously given and contained in several how-to articles linked from the Vonage Forum site. He's starting to close in on 2,000 posts.

I can't tell you how many Vonage users I've seen on the Vonage Forum who didn't get the answer(s) they needed from Vonage tech, but whose Vonage-related probs. were solved by Steve48, NateHoy, and to be fair, a select few others.

There are others, but Steve48 and NateHoy go above and beyond.
