ThinkFree Mobile Office suite for Android to be demoed next week

My full review of Documents To Go for the Google Android platform went live yesterday and I just received a press release for another mobile Office suite being demoed for Android devices next week at the COMPUTEX show. ThinkFree Mobile for Android will allow you to create, view, and edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations on your Android smartphone. The software will also support drawing of objects. The software will come with 1GB of online document storage as well so you can get to documents you may not have stored locally.

Viewing capabilities with ThinkFree for Android will be coming in July with full editing capabilities scheduled for a 4th Quarter of 2009 release. DataViz may have a PowerPoint solution available by then in Documents To Go as well since their other products support PowerPoint and Android users may request this in the suite too. It is always good to have some competition in software to provide the consumer with choices and products that get better and better over time.
