ThinkPad x220 with 15-20 hour battery life available for purchase tomorrow

Summary:I just received word from Lenovo that the ThinkPad x220 will be available tomorrow, April 19. I reviewed the x220 a month ago and it is the most popular review I have written on ZDNet.

When I first reviewed the ThinkPad x220 laptop from Lenovo a month ago I didn't realize I was getting such an advanced look at this notebook. I was quite taken with the x220 and the long battery life achieved in combination with an optional slice battery. I started hearing from folks who are interested in this ThinkPad that it's not available from Lenovo yet. I just received word from Lenovo that the x220 will be available tomorrow, April 19.

I have been using the x220 for a month and am more impressed with it than ever. The outstanding keyboard, 12.5-inch display, and the 15+ hour battery life with the slice battery are game-changers for mobile professionals. Check out the full review to revisit the features of the ThinkPad x220, and the full photo spread of it along with the slice battery below.
