Canadian EMR believes so, and for evidence offers this from eHealth Insider in Europe.

"The Irish Government is planning to commit almost half a billion Euros of investment to e-health when it publishes its National Development Plan for health.

OK, that's over five years. But we're talking about serious money here. We're talking about Ireland putting about $135 million each year into moving its health records online, and in computerizing hospitals, clinics, and doctors' offices.

Serious money.

So, is resistance now futile?
