Unlike previously promised, not all Windows Phone 8 phones will get WM10

Backing off from previous statements, Microsoft is now stating that some older phones running Windows Mobile 8 will not get updated to WM10. Several Lumia phones including the Icon, 920, and 1020 have been left behind. This is angering owners expecting to get WM10.

Edge browser gets support for extensions

The next preview of Windows 10 will have support for Edge browser extensions. This allows third-parties to build additional functionality for the browser, and are considered mandatory by many before adopting the Edge browser.

Windows 10 rolling out to Windows 8.1 device owners

Windows 10 Mobile is rolling out to devices with Windows 8.1. Timing "will vary by device manufacturer, device model, country or region, mobile operator or service provider, hardware limitations and other factors," according to Microsoft.
