Treos Interruptus?

Since my last blog regarding the Treo 700w and how I think both it and the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system could still use some improvement, I've been waiting for it to crash so I could take a picture of it that shows you what a crashed smartphone looks like.

Since my last blog regarding the Treo 700w and how I think both it and the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system could still use some improvement, I've been waiting for it to crash so I could take a picture of it that shows you what a crashed smartphone looks like.  It hasn't crashed yet, but perhaps this is the next best thing.  One of the applications -- tmail.exe -- apparently crashed.  The bad news is that I have no idea what went wrong.  Once I cleared the error message pictured below (which popped up two more times after I dismissed it), everything seemed to be working fine. The good news is (a) that I tried calling the phone while this message was being displayed and it worked fine and (b) Microsoft is clearly collecting the data about what's going wrong and trying to make improvements as a result.  The way the error message said I could tell Microsoft what went wrong at no cost to me did make me laugh though.

By the way... even though it needs improvement, Microsoft's Windows Mobile 5.0 mobile operating system is still the one I like best.
