Tulip picks up fallen giant Commodore

Dutch PC maker Tulip Computers is to pick up the scraps of fallen giant Commodore.

Tulip said the Commodore brand will be kept separate but all Tulip and Commodore systems will be manufactured in Tulip's Hertogenbosch, Netherlands factory. Commodore systems will be sold throughout Europe.

However, Tulip declined to comment on terms of the deal apart from saying that it won't include Commodore's retail outlets.
