Twitter rolls out new search features for news, videos

Summary:Twitter has introduced some new filters that make it easier for users to find the people, photos and news they want from their overflowing feeds.

Twitter just announced new search features designed to help people get to the tweets, videos and news they want as fast and conveniently as possible.

After making a query on the search bar, micro-blogging junkies can now parse results by categories including people you know, videos, news and photos as well as by location. Or you can just stick with the catch-all "everything" and "everywhere" designations.
