UK card fraud reaches 478.8 mln pounds a year

Apacs revealed that total card fraud rose by 18% to 478.8 mln pounds Between June 2003 and June 2004. The 28.1 mln pounds increase in fraudulent cash machine withdrawals accounts for a major portion of the overall rise in fraud.
