After the launch of Windows 7 last week, ZDNet.com.au spoke briefly with Microsoft Australia and New Zealand MD Tracey Fellows.

Fellows has been at Microsoft since 2003, when she started as a director in the software giant's server group. She has also held roles within Dell and IBM.

ZDNet.com.au asked Fellows about business customers on Windows 7, Microsoft's success in Telstra's T-suite, the discrepancy of Australian/US software pricing and the possibility of Microsoft seeing an Australian antitrust suit.

Centrelink said last week it intended to move its over 27,000 desktops onto the new operating system by next year. The NSW Department of Education and Training as well as the Queensland Department of Education and Training have also planned their own roll-outs.
