Getting in just ahead of the launch of another tablet later this week, ViewSonic has announced the immediate availability of the ViewPad 10.

This 10.1-inch slate recently made its official debut at Mobile World Congress 2011 in February. The big deal about this tablet is that the ViewPad 10 is capable of supporting "the best of both worlds." Hopefully for you, Windows 7 and Android 2.2 fits in with that idea.

Here's a refresher on the rest of the important specs that make up the ViewPad 10:

  • 10.1-inch LED-backlit, capacitive multi-touch display (1,024 x 600 resolution)
  • Intel Atom 1.66GHz processor
  • 2GB of memory
  • 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
  • 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera
  • Supports Flash-based content (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat)

Pricing starts at $599 for a 16GB solid state drive and jumps to $679 for a 32GB SSD. Buyers can also opt for either Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional. Does any of this pique your interest enough to purchase the ViewPad 10?
