VMware bought AirWatch for a mobile strategy as well as a fast lane to enterprise mobility management. Now the company is hoping its partner network will help it in the mobility land grab.

On Tuesday, VMware said that its network of 75,000 partners will sell AirWatch's enterprise mobility management (EMM) software as a service. The subscription will be available on VMware's price list globally.

Partners looking to sell AirWatch will be required to pass an exam and complete a four-hour course. Once training is complete, partners will have access to the My AirWatch Partner Portal, which will provide resources and training for cloud deployments.
