Canadian software maker Corel announced an agreement Tuesday to bundle its Painter Classic software with graphics tablets made by Wacom Technology. Painter, released under Corel's Procreate brand, is a collection of drawing and painting tools typically used by graphic artists.

Wacom is specialist in graphics tablets, pen-based input devices that replace a PC mouse and are typically used by graphics professionals. "The union of Wacom tablets and Procreate Painter Classic means that Wacom tablet users can be tremendously creative, right out of the box," Scott Rawlings, vice president of marketing for Wacom, said in a statement.
