  • The all you can eat editions, contain everything except Windows Anytime Upgrade (you'd already be running the highest edition available)

Professional

  • No BitLocker
  • No boot from VHD

Home Premium

  • No BitLocker
  • No boot from VHD
  • No EFS (Encrypting File System)
  • No Support for backup to a network location
  • Client-only Remote Desktop
  • No Offline files support
  • No Domain join

Home Basic

  • No Aero Glass (Aero theme available)
  • No Premium games
  • No BitLocker
