Windows '97: Windows CE gets first UK airing
Microsoft this morning gave the first UK public showing for its Windows CE operating system for handheld computers.
Microsoft showed the cut-down operating system at the Windows Show '97 at Olympia, London, and said it expected seven OEMs including Compaq, NEC, Casio and Hewlett-Packard to release products in May or June of this year.
