Windows Phone 7 headed to all five major U.K. carriers

It seems like our counterparts across the pond always seem to have more choice when it comes to mobile carriers, and now British consumers will get that opportunity again with Windows Phone 7.

It seems like our counterparts across the pond always seem to have more choice when it comes to mobile carriers, and now British consumers will get that opportunity again with Windows Phone 7.

Alright, so it's not exactly the same thing when compared with something like the iPhone because this refers to handhelds running the WP7 operating system.

But Microsoft has announced that WP7-based phones will be headed to Orange, O2, Vodafone, T-Mobile and Three when the mobile OS finally makes its debut within the next few months. Maybe it will be something similar to the Samsung Galaxy S series making its way to all four major U.S. carriers with different names - or something totally different.
