Workday on Thursday said that it is beefing up its built-in analytics to its platform for finance and human capital management with more scorecards and dashboards.

The predictive analytics tools are built in across Workday 26, said Betsy Bland, vice president of Workday in charge of financial management product strategy.

"This update is about making more information and data insights available for operational and management reporting," said Bland. "You will find embedded analytics in the experience."

Analytics additions to Workday include the following:

  • A customer collections dashboard to determine whether an invoice will be paid on time. This dashboard will be built into Workday's financial tools.
  • Workforce goal scorecards to monitor metrics such as headcount, turnover, diversity and percentage of contingent workers.
  • Project portfolio management scorecards to track resource management, project tracking, financials and operations for a period.
  • A procurement dashboard to track supplier spending with drilldowns for requisitions, receipts and purchase orders with one interface.
