The Motorola Xoom, the first official Google tablet, has officially landed and the early reviews are in. The Apple iPad 2 has been revealed and will shortly be in the hands of the masses. These two are emerging as the top picks in a tablet market that is about to be flooded with innumerable choices. If you had to choose between Xoom and iPad 2, which would you pick?

From a purely technical standpoint, the two tablets are roughly equal. But, the Xoom has a more PC-like feel to it and a much more open ecosystem, while the iPad 2 has a friendlier price and a lot more software apps.
