Zuora partners with accounting software companies

Zuora, an on-demand billing software player, has teamed up with a series of financial reporting companies to standardize subscription accounting.

The company said that it has partnered with FinancialForce.com, Intacct and Sage to standardize how subscription revenue is treated with accounting applications.

As the economy becomes more service oriented, accounting for subscriptions is no small issue.

Zuora's service acts as a billing and e-commerce backbone for a bevy of companies.

The upside from these partnerships is obvious for Zuora. If Zuora can plug and play with a bevy of existing accounting platforms, it will be able to land more corporate customers.
