Queensland Rail has brought on systems integrator UXC to assist with its asset management project.

UXC's SAP intergration business UXC Oxygen is carrying out the work, which will see Queensland Rail's business improvement and transformation programs integrated in SAP's enterprise resource planning platform.

UXC has not disclosed the tenure or value of the deal, but has noted that the "multi-year" agreement covers the initial design and blueprinting of integrating Queensland Rail's systems and its deployment.

"The combination of a strong partnership approach to working with Queensland Rail, the depth and flexibility of the UXC Oxygen SAP capability, strong cultural fit, and the strong alignment with SAP as a partner were key considerations in being awarded the contract," UXC managing director Cris Nicolli said in a statement.

UXC only recently won a contract with Queensland Health as its prime systems integrator for telecommunications products and services.
