Google announced today that its Commerce Search product is now available for the Aussie market.

Google Commerce Search is designed to index businesses' online product offerings on their websites, allowing visitors to the sites to "browse, navigate and search in the way they're used to with Google search", according to Will Easton, Google Australia's head of retail, technology and consumer products, speaking on the Google Australia blog.
Easton said retailers that had used the cloud-based feature on their site had seen increased sales, conversion rates and time spent on site. Average order size had also gone up.
"It's more than 10 years of Google search innovation and R&D, with the power of cloud computing behind it, applied to e-commerce site search," he said.
Google launched Commerce Search in the US and UK in November 2009. The search giant also updated the product to 2.0 in tandem with the Australian release of the product.
