He has 17 years of experience in financial markets, was CEO of MaxFácil, a joint-venture of financial groups Unibanco and Ipiranga and co-founder of Fairplace, an online financial loans community. His experience also includes work in the consumer credit, credit cards, and commercial banking segments, at Brazilian organizations such as Fininvest, Unicard, Unibanco and Nacional Bank. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Unicamp, a master degree in finance from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, an MBA in Brazil from Fundação Dom Cabral and an MBA in the United States from Stanford University.

Glaucia Alves Macedo - Subsecretary of State in the Government of Minas Gerais

Glaucia Alves Macedo is the Subsecretary of State in the Government of Minas Gerais at the Office of Strategic Priorities. In this role, she leads the activities of assessment, analysis and information. The initiatives managed by Glaucia include specific assessment and monitoring programs related to the State Government's priority areas - Education, Health, Security and Employment. Within information management, she is also responsible for the information and indicators that feed the business intelligence programs producing crucial data on public service administration that is utilized by citizens and government departments. Prior to her role in the Minas Gerais government, she worked for seven years at the Ministry of Social Development in the federal government in Brasília, on programs related to evaluation and monitoring of priority areas. Glaucia holds a degree in Economics and a masters degree in Demographics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais.

Sergio Loza, director, Big Data & Analytics, IBM Latin America

An executive with an extensive experience in Software sales management, services sales and operations, Sergio Loza is responsible for IBM's Social Business & Collaboration Software, including Software as a Service (SmartCloud for Social Business) sales in Latin America. Previously, he was a Sales Operations Executive for two years, managing daily sales operations for the Software Business Unit in IBM Latin America, as well as resources deployment, sales forecasting and pipeline management, order processing and fulfilment.

Alejandro Padron, Latin America Retail Leader, IBM Global Business Services

Alejandro Padron manages consulting engagements as a Partner in the Retail industry in the Latin America region, developing new approaches to the improvement of business efficiency abd otimizing operations. He is also accountable for the development of strategies where technology is used to transform the businesses he serves, while improving innovation and reducing operating costs.
