BlackBerry 10 operating system screenshot gallery

Summary: BlackBerry revealed their new BlackBerry 10 operating system last week, but since US consumers won't see it for about a month I thought you might enjoy screenshots from the BlackBerry Z10.

  • Hmmmm

Looks like Android to me. Hope it succeeds though, the more platforms to choose from the better to be honest.

Love my job, since I've been bringing in $5600… I sit at home, music playing while I work in front of my new iMac that I got now that I'm making it online.(Menu more information)

I was thinking the exact same thing! The lock screen looks exactly like iPhone with time/date stamp front and center with camera icon in the corner. The home screen looks just like Android with rows of icons for apps and indicator for which home screen you're on. There's a screen that allows quick access to wifi, bluetooth, settings, and screen rotation which is just like Android.

I've seen vids though, and the way the phone swipes up, down, and side to side looks different though. When you swipe up, the leading edge of the screen sort of blurs which gives a nice transition between screens. You don't see this in either Android or iOS. It's also more elegant than either iOS or Android. I wish Apple would take a page or 10 from Blackberry cause that OS is gorgeous!

    • Are you feeling ok?

I usually would never register for any site, but your comments are just mind-blowing, and I promise I'll try to keep it short & sweet, can you please tell me exactly how does BlackBerry 10 even remotely look like Android???

I have 3 devices, BB Bold 9900, BB 10 Dev Alpha, and Samsung Galaxy Ace, I don't see any resemblance between Droid & BlackBerry, let alone iToy Zarniw00p

I'll give you credit Maha888 for your last paragraph, BlackBerry 10 OS is gorgeous, and it will put BlackBerry back on scale never seen before for sure, even though you'll always have your jealous haters, of course.

  • Rim vs Existing World

Soooo, nothing. Maybe to current clueless users of Blackberry, this is good but to the rest of us, this totally sucks. I guess we should congratulate RIM on not screwing up so bad that it couldn't do anything. After all, it does a few things almost as good as what already exists!!

    • Guess you didn't get the memo.

It's no longer RIM, it's BlackBerry.

p.s. So if someone doesn't agree with you they're clueless? Okay Mr. Perfect. /s

  • Multitasking--Only Eight Apps?

I currently have 14 entries in the list of loaded apps on my Asus Nexus 7. That includes both apps actually running and ones that are terminated but still cached for quick resumption--Android hides the difference.

  • The bennefits of having an android

I think its great, the only thing is that people should see the low calling rates for local and international calls at www.distancecalling.com, they have good quality calling service, like top of the cream, and it works in any phone
