6G iPod user interface leaked; it's not like iPhone

According to a MacRumors video (since removed at the request of Apple legal) the new iPod interface will look stylish and more graphical - but nothing like iPhone, as most have predicted. Most people figured that the next iPod would simply be iPhone, sans the phone part. But would it include WiFi, Bluetooth, Mail, Safari, etc.? No one really knows.

If the video below is to be believed, the 6G iPod is more akin to a slightly improved iPod video than it is to an iPhone.

I've always said that Apple won't release a phoneless iPhone until sales taper off significantly. It's not Apple's modus operandi to cannibalize sales of the hottest (and highest margin) product in company history so that they can sell something that has 80 percent of the functionality for much less money. Why would they do something so foolish?

The video might be a fake, but if that's the case, why did Apple release the legal hounds on MacRumors?
