Verizon launched two LTE/4G USB modems on Dec 5, 2010, the Pantech UML290 (left) and the LG VL600 (right).

Originally both were Windows-only but a workaround was soon discovered that enabled the Pantech modem to work on Mac OS X.

The official Mac OS version of the VZAccess Manager software for the Pantech UML290 is now available for download from the Verizon website.

Verizon has stated that it will release Mac drivers for its other LTE modem, the LG VL600, "at some point in February." Hopefully it's sooner rather than later.

There was no Mac drivers for any 4G modems from Verizon, Pantech or LG. today, Verizon released the Pantech files. LG still is windows only. Nice job screwing up a huge win for the Mac family.
