Overclock a Mac Pro or Xserve in software
Summary: Our pals over at ZDNet Germany have released an overclocking tool for the Mac Pro and Xserve that raises the speed of the processor, front side bus and memory – all without opening the case. Although tons of overclocking tools are available for Windows, up until now, little if any have been available for the Mac OS.

"ZDNet Clock 1.0" for Mac OS X supports the Mac Pro and the Xserve and requires an Intel processor and Mac OS 10.5 Leopard. More information and test results from three Mac Pro models is available at ZDNet.de.

Overclocking Mac Pro problems
stable, but Real Audio clips cut off short because they rely on
the ticking clock to know when to stop. The speed bump
wasn't worth it because I use Real Audio clips a LOT.
How safe is Overclocking?
how safe is it to do so? other than loosing the warranty, would the performance degrade eventually or the processor reach a sudden death? what is more likely to happen or are they more probabilities than this two.
