While iOS 4.2 was just released on Monday, version 4.3 may be right around the corner. MacStories reports that an iOS update will be needed to support iTunes' new recurring subscriptions.
Sources tell MacStories that an iOS update will be needed to support iTunes' new recurring subscriptions. Word is that iOS 4.3 is just that update and that it will support Apple's new subscription billing APIs, enabling subscription apps like News Corp's forthcoming iNewspaper app -- The Daily.
Gruber thinks that iOS 4.3 will be announced on Thursday, December 9 and released on Monday, December 13.
