Lost in the hyperbole of the new iPod nano (4th generation) and iTunes 8.0 was a teeny, tiny change to the iPod shuffle line –new colors. While not as earth-shattering as the new acceleromoter in the nano, speakers in the touch or iTunes' new Genius feature, it's worth noting nonetheless.
The last round of the dimiutive iPod shuffle came in silver, teal, light green, purple and (PRODUCT) RED.

It may not come with a screen, but the shuffle remains the only iPod that will survive being driven over by a 4,000-pound automobile.
