Verizon Wireless has just placed the BlackBerry 8830 in its Verizon Wireless Communications retail stores.

$199.99 with a two-year plan on initial account-opening signup.

Verizon BlackBerry 8830 brag points:

    i just picked up my 8830 from Verizon and discovered that Verizon has restricted the internal GPS receiver. I wish they would get a clue, without a camera on this device, the GPS was the only feature that set it apart, and the only reason i bought the silly thing!!! Now I will take it back, and have to switch to Cingular.
