Palm cancels Foleo

Palm's Foleo companion, which had mixed prospects, has been canceled so the company can double down on its next-generation software platform. Palm CEO Ed Colligan said in a post Tuesday that shelving the Foleo was the right thing to do:I have decided to cancel the Foleo mobile companion product in its current configuration and focus all of our energies on delivering out next generation platform and the first smartphones that will bring this platform to market.
