  • You can't "design" for real world applications and games

    If you're getting more frame rates for the top 10 games, there is no way around the fact that the Core 2 is a superior CPU. If you're getting lowest times for audio, video, and 3D rendering, there is no way to get around the fact that Core 2 is a superior CPU. The idea that this is somehow cheating the tests is ludicrous.
