Apple takes a big fall

By | January 23, 2008, 9:40am PST

Among all the tech stocks Apple is taking the biggest beating today. Halfway into the trading day Apple is down over 17 percent. It just shows how the mighty can fall based on making some conservative projections for growth and an extremely skittish market. Even in the post-Macworld aura, the reality distortion field of Steve Jobs can’t hold up the stock.

Apple is not alone. Google has been on a similar trajectory in the last month.

Panic time for stocks?
Ken_z 23rd Jan 2008
I think that it's going to be panic time for a lot of investors,
especially since the President came out with a $145 Billion
stimulus package he said was urgently needed and actually
agreed to work with Congress in order to get it out fast. That,
in itself, is a bit scary! happy

I also believe that investors that know Apple and Google (and
other similar companies) will not panic, but will take advantage
of the price cuts. A year from now these companies will report
profits for 2008, increased sales and increased cash positions -
even if their stock is in the pits.

Make your own mind up - but my belief today for tomorrow is on a music tech stock
that's been around for Long time now.

if not sooner.

Buy NOW, it's already back up over $10 from the day's low. If you had 100 shares,
that's $1000 in a couple of hours.

Not as much as NonZealot and ShadeTree make but up there anyway!!!
