I want one...
Asus recently released the Eee Pad Transformer, but reports signify that the Taipei-based computer company is readying some new high-powered slates for this summer.
According to DigiTimes, Asus will release the 10-inch Eee Pad Slider EP102 with a NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU and the 7-inch Eee Pad MeMo EP71 with a Qualcomm processor in the next three months.
However, it appears Asus has an even more exciting tablet in the works:
Asustek is also expected to launch tablet PCs running on CPUs from Intel as well as quad-core tablets built using NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 (T30) quad-core processors, according to industry sources.
That kind of technology will surely be useful for some higher-powered graphics necessary for gaming and design. Unfortunately, it might drive the price tag up considerably as well.
