COMDEX Interruptus

We won't be going to Las Vegas this year for the annual gathering of the computing industry. MediaLive International, the company behind COMDEX, is cancelling this year's event due to lack of support from leading technology vendors. I am on an advisory board of editors for the show, and have been to more than 20 annual COMDEXes, but it doesn't make sense to have the event unless a majority of the industry is supportive of the yearly gathering of buyers and sellers.
