    There is no way that the Federation would use an iPad...Apple's closed architecture would prevent alien races from using it!

      @tech_ed@... Whenever I see these comments about "closed architecture", I am confused. Are you implying that Microsoft Windows or MS Office are open architectures? Do you buy software in which it is illegal to reverse engineer and change the software in any way? Why don't you just say, "I don't like Apple, Inc., its products or Steve Jobs." Then we can compare Apple with whatever corporation it is that you like.
