At a Google press event in Los Angeles, the company officially launches its music service and store. Now open to all, the service enables users to upload their music libraries to Google's servers, making those tunes available to stream on Android-based devices. Users can also now purchase songs from three major music labels.

And so it begins. NOT the end of iTunes, but the beginning of the end of iTunes Music monopoly.

The good thing about the services is that its giving away FREE song of the day and sharing on Google + fans is FREE
The bad thing is that its only for US

Lol what monopoly? I've been downloading from several different "major" places for years online. And again remember MS had music downloads for .79 all along.
