Summary: Specifically, Mykonos’ software focuses on Web application attacks and zero-day threats.

Juniper Networks bought Mykonos Software, a security vendor, for $80 million.

In a statement, Juniper said that it will use Mykonos’ intrusion deception systems to bolster its security platform. Mykonos aims to detect an attacker before he gets started.
