Yahoo’s board meeting is still going but word is that Microsoft has issued a statement criticizing Yahoo’s interpretation of the negotiations. “Yahoo is attempting to rewrite history yet again with statements that are not supported by the facts,” Microsoft says.

We’ve put in a request for the full statement and will post it when we receive it.

Also, Techcrunch reports that Time Warner has blocked Yahoo’s plans to add former AOL CEO Jonathan Miller to the board. Miller, one of three proposed directors backed by Carl Icahn, needs Time Warner’s blessing because he is still under a non-compete agreement with AOL.

Nothing to negotiate.

Microsoft offered them plenty more than Yahoo was worth. There was nothing to negotiate. The board is just trying to cover their butt with the current lawsuits pending against them. If they were really trying to maximize their shareholder's value they would have sold. Yahoo stock price will never be worth what they were offered.
if this guy Bostock was formerly with the board at Northwest Airlines the trouble is only just beginning. GET RID of him ASAP.
