More Newsgator problems

Yesterday, in the process of unsuccessfully getting the Web-based version of NewsGator to do what I need it to do, the folks from NewsGator told me how, in the Web version of their software, if I want to see items that I may have accidentally "Marked as Read" (sort of the same thing as deleting them), that I should click on the "Display Options" link (shown left) and select the menu option to "Show Older Articles.

Yesterday, in the process of unsuccessfully getting the Web-based version of NewsGator to do what I need it to do, the folks from NewsGator told me how, in the Web version of their software, if I want to see items that I may have accidentally "Marked as Read" (sort of the same thing as deleting them), that I should click on the "Display Options" link (shown left) and select the menu option to "Show Older Articles." The result is supposed to reveal any items whether they've been marked as read or not. One of my complaints about the feature, when it works, is that there's no way to unmark individual items to reset to be "unread" (in my mind, this is the equivalent of undeleting).

This morning, in working on a blog post about desktop Linux, I realized that there were a few relevant items that I "marked as read" that I wanted to bring back.  So, I opened the Display Options menu, clicked "Show Older Articles," and in response, I got a message telling me that "NewsGator has experienced an unexpected issue responding to my request" (shown below). Uggh. I just wish things would work sometimes.
