This week on the Dan and David Show, which is actually the David and Larry show since Dan is on vacation, we discuss Opera's complaint in the EU against Microsoft over the IE-Windows bundle and Web standards. David thinks that Opera is in trouble and that's why it's reaching for the complaint. I argue that Opera's complaint wouldn't have a chance in the U.S. but the EU is far less friendly to Microsoft. With Opera's home court advantage anything is possible.

David explains the importance of Bebo's big move to link up with Facebook applications. What's it mean for Google OpenSocial? Not much at this point, David says. It's likely Bebo will hook into OpenSocial too.

And finally, David and I talked AMD, which held its analyst meeting today and also saw its Barcelona performance results invalidated by SPEC. Is the glass half full--or empty? After a lot of back and forth, we both came down on the side that AMD has to execute better before it talks about any of that "half full" stuff.
