Robotic pharmacy: Machines process meds, improve safety

UCSF Medical Center patients now receive medication from the hospital’s automated pharmacy. By using robots instead of people, the hospital hopes to reduce errors and free pharmacists and nurses to work directly with doctors on patient care.

It means you can add or remove nodes and the database lives on. In a shared nothing architecture, if you lose a node, you lose the system.
