Zoho debuted iZoho today, which allows iPhone users to view Zoho Writer, Sheet and Show documents, and to edit Writer documents in the Safari browser. The user interface has been modified for the iPhone. For example the pages slide across the screen, like a slide show effect, and the menus are simplified.

Previously I had written about Zoho for the iPhone being released this week, but Zoho’s Raju Vegesna said it was an "internal fun project" and doubted it would ever be released. Apparently, the iPhone is too hard to resist.

  • Looks nice, but where is the keyboard

Pop-up the iPhone keyboard and then how much of the screen is really viewable? And then to find out that you can't even use a Bluetooth keyboard with the iPhone makes document editing and creation fruitless on the iPhone.

This is going to be a challenge. I tried to used any kind of spreadsheets or even
word processors in the tiny area of every handheld device. Not too easy.

When I receive mails from the blackberries , i just see one word or a line at most.

Spreadsheet on a handheld device is not friendly period. Good for Zoho though
who wants to demonstrate they are ahead of Google on this.
